Liesl Malan
Liesl Malan has a solid and long term background in education/teaching and coaching and has always had a huge passion for children and movement. After graduating from the University of Stellenbosch, she started her teaching career at Herschel Girls school in Cape Town, as a History and Physical Education teacher.
Her husband was transferred to Namibia and there she was appointed as Head of Department of Physical Education at the Windhoek International School (WIS), where she was involved in the organization of numerous school tours, excursions and sports events.
Liesl developed a passion for younger children, and she ran a successful Franchise called Clamber Club (Mother and Child Workshops) which focuses on gross motor development for babies and toddlers aged 4 months to 4 years. Owning the franchise included doing marketing, financial management of the business and resource management.
Another transfer brought Liesl to Paarl and here she established a Children’s Activity based Party Business and coached Sports part-time. (Field Hockey and Swimming).
Her passion for working with toddlers brought her back into teaching and she re-entered the teaching environment in 2020.  She taught 4–5-year-olds as well as 1–2-year-olds at Kinder Ark Preschool in Val de Vie for 3 years.
Joining the already established Divine Kids Playschool was an opportunity for her to combine her vast experience of managing a team, with her love for children, in a dynamic learning environment.

our mission
For many children, daycare is the first community outside their family. At Divine Kids, parents, children, teachers and staff work as a team to create a safe and loving community.
To structure the environment in such a way that children can learn to be curious, be active discoverers who find joy in everyday sensations.
As children and caring adults interact, children learn to share social values and diverse cultures.
To teach children socialization guidelines that prepare them to confidently enter the world and build friendships that will last a lifetime.
